LINDA CRAST
EN- Born in Denmark, grown up in Italy and now living in Crete. Since childhood interested in design, architecture and furniture, hence after artistic studies in Turin and different work experiences with restorations of churches, I made a job out of my passion. I deal with house and shop decorations, kids' room, murales, mosaics with new and broken tiles (counters, bathrooms, kitchens, coloums, swimming pools, Bars), renew old furniture, paint fake rugs on all kind of floors... all this from the project phase to the execution.
GR-Γεννημένη στη Δανία, μεγάλωσα στην Ιταλία και τώρα ζω στην Κρήτη. Από την παιδική μου ηλικία είχα ενδιαφέρον για το σχεδιασμό, την αρχιτεκτονική και τα έπιπλα. Ως εκ τούτου, μετά από καλλιτεχνικές σπουδές στο Τορίνο και διαφορετικές εμπειρίες, συνεργασίες για αποκαταστάσεις εκκλησιών, έκανα το πάθος μου την εργασία μου. Ασχολούμαι με διακοσμήσεις σπιτιών και καταστημάτων, παιδικών δωματίων», τοιχογραφίες, ψηφιδωτά με νέα και σπασμένα κεραμίδια (γκισέδες, μπάνια, κουζίνες, κολώνες, πισίνες, μπαρ), ανανεώνω παλιά έπιπλα, δημιουργώ "ψεύτικα" χαλιά σε όλα τα είδη των δαπέδων ... όλα αυτά από τη σχεδίαση του έργου μέχρι και την εκτέλεση.
Είμαι ιδρυτής και δημιουργός στο καλλιτεχνικό χώρο-εργαστήρι "ΑΤΕΛΙΕ",που βρίσκεται στο Σίβα, στο οποίο οργανώνω μαθήματα ζωγραφικής,γλυπτικής καθώς και εκθέσεις και καλλιτεχνικά δρώμενα

Interessata da sempre di design, architettura e arredamento, dopo aver conseguito gli studi artistici a Torino e varie esperienze nel campo del restauro ho fatto delle mie passioni un lavoro.
Mi occupo di decorazioni di case e negozi,camerette per bambini, murales, mosaici con piastrelle di recupero e non (banconi, bagni, cucine, colonne, piscine), restauro di arredamento, pittura di finti tappeti su ogni tipo di pavimento....il tutto dal progetto fino all'esecuzione.
GER-Geboren in Dänemark, aufgewachsen in Italien lebe ich nun auf Kreta. Seit Kindertagen an Design, Architektur und Möbeln interessiert und nach einem Studium der Kunstwissenschaften in Turin und verschiednen Arbeitserfahrungen im Bereich der Kirchenrestauration machte ich aus meiner Leidenschaft einen Beruf. Ich mache alle Arten von Haus- oder Geschäftsdekorationen, Mosaik-Arbeiten mit Fliesen und Naturstein für Küchen, Bäder, Pools, Bars,...etc. Decken, Wand und Bodenmalerei (z.B. gemalte Teppiche), Restauration von alten Holzmöbeln, Kinderzimmermalerei und eigentlich jede Art der Innengestaltung von der Planung bis zur Fertigstellung.

EN-I began working as a stonesetter in 1990, i learned from established Greek and Armenian craftsmen.
I was trained in : -Stone setting, basic knowledge in Gemology, Folk art, Computer-based jewel design, Diamond-ology
From 1999 I started to make my own pieces of jewellery also i discovered my skills in painting and sculpting.
I took part in several group art exhibitions
My imagination brought me to be creative with many kinds of art, using all types of materials
In 2009 I was manager to an exhibition space, in Heraklion Crete who hosted artworks from Greece and abroad.
From 2010 i created my own bussines in Matala Crete called Prisma
At the same time I organize art events with the support of colleagues and personal exhibitions in Athens and Crete
I am always ready to learn new things and discover new technics to develop my work.
From 2011 i have a store name PRISMA in Matala Crete where i have the oportunity to sell my art.
GR- Άρχισα να εργάζομαι ως Αδαμαντοδέτρια το 1990, μαθαίνοντας την τέχνη από Έλληνες και Αρμένιους τεχνίτες.
Έχω επαγγελματική κατάρτιση στην Αδαμαντολογία και βασικές γνώσεις με πιστοποιήσεις σεμιναρίων σε :
Γεμμολογία, Λαϊκή τέχνη, Computer-based σχεδιασμό κοσμημάτων, Διαμαντολογία .
Από το1999 άρχισα να δημιουργώ τη δική μου σειρά κοσμημάτων και ανακάλυψα τις ικανότητές μου στη ζωγραφική και τη γλυπτική.
Πήρα μέρος σε διάφορες ομαδικές εκθέσεις καλλιτεχνών
Η φαντασία μου με έφερε να δημιουργώ σε διαφορετικά είδη τέχνης, χρησιμοποιώντας ποικιλία σε πρώτες ύλες.
Το 2009 ήμουν διευθύντρια σε εκθεσιακό χώρο, στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης που φιλοξένησε έργα τέχνης από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
Από το 2010 δημιούργησα την προσωπική μου επιχήρηση.
Παράλληλα οργανώνω διάφορα καλλιτεχνικά δρώμενα με την στήριξη συνεργατών και προσωπικες εκθέσεις σε Αθήνα και Κρήτη
Είμαι πάντα έτοιμη να μάθω νέα πράγματα και να ανακαλύπτω καινούργιες τεχνικές που θα αναπτύξουν την δουλειά μου.
Από το 2011 διατηρώ το κατάστημα ΠΡΙΣΜΑ στα Μάταλα της Κρήτης όπου έχω την ευκαιρία να εμπορεύομαι τις δημιουργίες μου.
